Nature, Culture, and Adventure in the Heart of the Sacred Valley

Discover one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the Sacred Valley of the Incas: the majestic Perolniyoc Waterfall and the enigmatic Raqaypata archaeological site—an ideal destination for nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and adventure seekers.

Just a few hours from Cusco and near Ollantaytambo, this hidden gem invites you to disconnect from city life and reconnect with Pachamama (Mother Earth). Nestled in the community of Socma, in the district of Ollantaytambo (Urubamba province), this natural wonder is surrounded by the unique energy of the Andes and guarded by ancient Inca remains that whisper stories from centuries past.

Perolniyoc Waterfall:
Standing at over 100 meters tall and located at an altitude of 3,460 meters (11,351 ft), Perolniyoc is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Peru. Its crystal-clear waters, born in the heart of the Andes, cascade like a fine veil over a rocky stream, creating a mesmerizing visual spectacle that sparkles in the sunlight like tiny diamonds.

This peaceful place captivates not only with its beauty but also with its powerful energy. It’s the perfect spot to relax, meditate, take stunning photos, or simply enjoy the soothing sound of falling water in an untouched natural setting.

Raqaypata Archaeological Site:
Just a few minutes from the waterfall lies Raqaypata, a fascinating Inca ceremonial and administrative center. Strategically located, it once controlled important routes through the valley. Its well-preserved terraces, walls, and stone structures still echo the ingenuity of the Inca civilization, and the elevated site offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

A Complete Experience:
This full-day experience blends gentle trekking, ancient culture, and stunning natural landscapes. It’s perfect for travelers looking to escape the beaten path and enjoy a slower, more meaningful connection with Andean nature and heritage.
